How guide on marketing on the internet

If you are new to the net and interested in making money ethically then this article will educate you in the various methods of making money online.

It uses a blog as an example of various types money making paths. Blogs cost nothing and are provided free to build a community on the internet.

First of all you can sell a product directly. Have a website and sell as you would have in a mail order catalogue, except thanks to the internet you can automate most of the process, other than shipping and handling. You also still have to stock a product. However this becomes limited when compared to your traditional shoppping mall because while Wal-mart, K-mart, Big-W or whatever can have thousands of products on display, attempting the same on one website becomes very difficult. This is why most people to sell products direct online have a limited number of products for sale. I do participate in a variation of this same theme and you probably have as well, selling on auction on ebay is a type of direct product selling, courteousy of a third party provider.

Next go to the resource box and you will see examples of all the rest of the things I am going to be talking about. (just copy and paste the address to your URL - thats the address bar)

Firstly, you will note that there are no direct products for sale. I don't want to ship hundreds of items, I want to leverage my time, so the first thing for sale is a product available through an affliliate. At this stage it doesn't matter who it is for, its the concept that is important here. You don't have to sell a product directly to make money on the internet. You can become an affliliate member which gives you the right to advertise a product and if a sale is made you get a commission - kind of like your old door to door salesperson, but this time the door is via the customers internet. In order to succeed here you need traffic to your website, the more targeted traffic the better. (by targeted I mean something that the customer is looking for, you don't want someone who wants to buy a dog to come to your cat website, as its unlikely to result in a sale). Eventually given enough traffic the sales will come. Remember the higher the cost of the product the less sales are likely, most people are on a restricted budget, but the higher the cost or the product normally the large commission payout. This is a balancing act, if one thing pays out $500 dollars you would only have to sell one a week, if another paids you a $5 commission then you would have to sell hundred to make the same money.

It is important to understand that as an affliliate you are provided with a code embedded into your links which tracks you are being responsible for bringing the company the sale. Hence in any banner, links, code to put in, make sure its your own.

The second item for sale is a viral type of product or similiar to the old MLM's.

In this case GDI - Global domains International, which has the rights over the. ws web address ending (in this case. ws is advertised as standing for website). What they are selling is a hosting service provider as well as a domain name and a variety of other internet services, quite cheaply really considering what your getting. But the real money making deal here is that by signing up others you make a $1 per person per month, and you make another $1 for each person they sign up and so on to five levels deep. Why would a company do this. Because its cheap advertising for them and explodes their growth. In the case of GDI they have made it very clear that they want be the dominant website address. ws, in order to accomplish this they are willing to share money with anyone who helps them grow. By clicking this link the company knows you brought them another customer and your share in the profits. I call it viral because like a virus it catching from one person to a few more to many more, to hundreds, well you get the idea. $1 dollars is not alot, but $1 times 5000 is. Once again you are not selling a product, you are as an agent, and you are not selling a tradtitional goods but in this case a service. This is a viral type or MLM type of system. Often MLM gets a bad rap, but I believe it is because people buy the SYSTEM, instead of buying the PRODUCT, whatever you buy make sure you are happy with the PRODUCT.

The third one is an ebay link. Once again this earns money through affliliate program. It is easy to sign as an affliliate, just look on any web home page and your will normally find a link to "affiliates" In this case the affliliate it run through a third party - commission junction, who acts as an independant company to make sure affliliates are not ripped off, paid on time, etc. This isn't even directly selling a service - its straight out promoting another website.

The four one is EPI - Emerald passport Inc. which is a total online product, namely financial education materials, self improvement, hours of video and audio, information store on line. Its an example of selling INFORMATION online.

Don't think information is valuable consider this short piece of information

for anyone who has sold on ebay.

Do you list a product at $20 or $19.99. Which will make you the most money?

The $19.99! how you ask, because the listing fee difference between $20 and $19.99 is 25 cents (don't tell ebay I told you this, that might lose some of your money). Hence if you list and sell at $20 you earn 24 cents less than the person who listed and sold at $19.99.

How much is this information worth - well at least 24 cents, but to those who sell hundreds of items, much more if they are making this basic mistake and costing themselves money.

Obviously quality information that saves money, creates money or increases your knowledge is important.

Finally you see an short article on clickbank. Like comission junction they act as an afflitate provider and users. This link sells NOTHING yet still makes money. HOW? because anyone who travels down your link to clickbank and joins in makes you a small commission. Once again its a company paying you to advertise, in this case to help them advertise.

A similar thing is google adwords where you are paid to advertise and then pay a small amount per ad click through.

Some other links are included as examples, but you get the picture. Some links make NO money but are their to try and generate traffic, see instantBuzz. com, traffic swarm, etc. Not everyone can be listed in the first pages of a search engine, so you can either accept that fact, be in constant competition to optimise and re-optimise your web page to stay near the top.

There are people willing to do this. Why you may ask? Because the free advertising generated by being in the number one spot is a virtual goldmine and drives huge quantity of traffic to your site, especially if you are listed with a big search engine like google or yahoo. However if you aren't going to be listed high on one of these search engines (in fact sometimes its even hard to be found and cache by these engines) then you are going to need alternative ways to bring traffic to your website. Another option to marketing is to pay for it, like with google ads word. Another is to advertise offline in a variety of traditional media, magazines, newspaper, radio and TV.

I hope this article and the website at have helped you increase your knowledge of how business takes place on the internet. There may be other ways I haven't yet covered, but this is a good base for you to start.

How to start your online business with drop-shipping

:
By using drop-shipping firms to handle your orders, you could route all your ecommerce site's orders to wholesalers, and they will drop shipped your order directly to customers. And you as the online retailer can eliminate the expense of carrying inventory and the risk of being stuck with the goods if these goods didn't sell.

Before you get started, consider these seven steps involved in starting a drop-ship e-business:

Step 1: Decide to sell your products with or without your own website

You can start your drop-shipping e-business either with or without having your own website. If you decide to sell with your own domain name, then you need to get your ecommerce site up. If you do not want the hassle of getting your own ecommerce site, then you could build your online store at eBay. eBay e-store site builder allow you to build your online store easily.

Step 2: Decide products to sell

Then, you need to decide what types of products to sell at your online store. You could identify a group of products such as electronic products, household electrical appliances, cell phones & etc. It is advisable to identify similar products or products under the same category to sell instead of totally different category products such as shoes and CD player. Because, by selecting products within the same category, you can give your customers more choice to choose from, and you can group two or more products in a bundle for promotion or marketing activities and you get more sales on each transaction.

Step 3: Locate suppliers who will drop-ship for you

After identify your products to sell, you need to look for your drop-shipping suppliers. On time delivery is important to ensure the satisfaction of your customers; hence, be sure you check for the drop-shipper performance record before you sign-up an account with them. Discussion forum, message board and blogs are sources for you to find some hints or comment for the drop-shippers. Or you just simply key-in the drop-shipper name on the Google or Yahoo search box; you should get some information of your selected drop-shipper.

Step 4: Set up an account with the drop-shipper

Once you select a drop-shipping company, you need to set up a reseller account with the company. This can often be done online or by phone, but some companies will require that you complete and return a reseller application to open an account. Some may also require a tax ID and a business license. Most drop-shipping company will charge some fee to open their reseller account.

Step 5: Advertise the product for sale online

Many online retailers failed in their drop-shipping e-business because they could drive traffic or visitor to their website and convert these visitors to the actual paying customers. To get traffic to your product page (either your website or your eBay e-store), you need to advertise your products so that your products get exposure on internet and attract targeted traffic to your product page.

There are many ways to advertise your products. You could advertise on eBay, use pay-per-click (PPC) advertisement service such as Google Adword or Yahoo PPC. Or you could go for the cheapest but equally efficient way in driving traffic to your e-store: Article Marketing. You could write a review on your products in an article and put your e-store URL at the end of article or at the author resource box and submit them many article directories for maximum exposure. Many internet visitors will drop-by to your e-store via your URL link at the end of your article if they are interested to know more.

Step 6: The Product Sold & Place Order To Drop-Shipper

Once your have product sold, your customer will pay you on your selling price via your online payment system such as PayPal. And you place the order with your drop-shipper and pay them via their payment system at the agreed price, which is lower than your selling price, so that you could earn the profit.

Step 7: After Sale Follow Up

Many e-business entrepreneurs will miss out after sale follow up portion. Just because your customer has paid you and you have placed the order with the drop-shipper, it does not mean that this is end of the loop. Because if there are problem occur, you are the one who need to responsible in the eyes of your customers. Hence, you should follow up with your drop-shipper either via phone or email to ensure that ship out your order to your customer.

You should proactively follow up with your customer to ensure they have received their order and satisfy with it. Offer yourself as the personal contact for any issues that may arise. This is also a great way to sell customers more products because if your customers are satisfied with your service, they may give you repeat orders.

In Summary

By integrate drop-shipper into your e-business, you can forget about inventory handling issues and find a shipping partner to fulfill orders for you; all will be done by your drop-shipping partners. By following correct steps to set up your drop-shipping e-business, you can save your time and efforts in getting your business started faster.

The power of forgiveness

The rules, regulations and principles that God tells us to abide by in the Bible are all there for our own good. They are there to protect us physically, mentally and spiritually.

In the Lord’s Prayer it says, “Forgive us our trespassers as we forgive those who trespass against us”.

Why is forgiveness so important? Why is it essential to our own well being and our spiritual walk?

There are several reasons. Firstly unforgiveness hampers our relationship with God. We are disobeying him if we don’t forgive others, which retards our relationship with him. It also leads to pent up resentment toward the person who has sinned against us. We cannot love God and hate our fellow man, as written (Mat 22:39) “….Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself”. Harbouring unforgiveness that keeps us in a state that is other than loving can dampen our spiritual walk.

Secondly unforgiveness can lead to internal emotional turmoil. It means that we are permanently tied to the act of sin against us. We cannot get over it or get release from it, and move on with our lives until we forgive the person and put the consequences of their actions into God’s hands to deal with. Bad things that have been done to us in the past cannot be changed. Having grudges does not help us and does not hurt the person who we hold the grudge against. They have sinned against us and moved on with their life, but we cannot detach ourselves and move on until we give it over to God and forgive them.

Resentment and pent up anger can be extremely damaging both emotionally and also physically. Many illnesses and mental conditions are directly linked to these negative emotions. Unforgiveness can lead to turmoil and torment.

Forgiveness allows our heart to start healing. It is often a slow process, if the emotions have been bottled up for many years.

We need to remember that forgiving someone is showing them mercy that they do not deserve – just as God through sending his son to die for our sins showed that he gave us mercy that we didn’t deserve.

Forgiving others begins the process of alleviating the pain that we have kept hold of, due to the hurt that the other person has caused us. When you start to forgive the pain will start to reduce and eventually go all together.

We do not need the other person to ask for our forgiveness to give it to them. Forgiveness is not really between us and the person who sinned against us it is really between us and God. God makes it clear that it is his job to take ‘vengeance’, not ours.

Forgiveness is not an emotion it is a personal choice, effectively an action that we need to perform. We have to choose to forgive and keep on choosing it. When we do this we cut the ties to the emotional hurts and can begin to heal.

Forgiveness releases us from the bondage of resentment and bitterness and gives us freedom and peace.

Crowing about toothache

When you take care of the natural teeth in your mouth, there will be no toothache to crow about. Toothache refers to the pain caused by tooth or jaw problems such as dental cavity, a cracked tooth, an exposed tooth root, gum disease, disease of the jaw joint, or muscle spasms when chewing. The severity of a toothache can range from mild to chronic excruciating pain. The pain may be aggravated by chewing, cold, or hot temperature of food or liquids taken through the mouth. Dental x-rays can help determine the cause whether the toothache is coming from a tooth or jaw problem.

It is possibility that a toothache may be caused by a problem not originating from a tooth or the jaw. Pain around the teeth and the jaws can be symptoms of diseases of the heart such as angina or heart attack, ear infections, and even a sinus infection. The pain of angina is usually located in the chest or the arm. However, in some patients with angina, a toothache or jaw pain are the only symptoms of their heart problem. Since infections and diseases of the ears and sinuses can also cause pain around the teeth and jaws, evaluations by both dentists and doctors become necessary to diagnose medical illnesses causing "toothache."

Dental cavity is the most common cause of toothache. Dental cavities are holes in the two outer layers of a tooth called the enamel and the dentin. These layers serve to protect the inner lining of the tooth tissue called the pulp, where blood vessels and nerves reside. Bacterial infections in the mouth convert simple sugars into acid which softens and dissolves the enamel and dentin, thus, creating cavities. Small shallow cavities usually do not cause pain and may be unnoticed by the patient. It is the larger deeper cavity that becomes irritated by bacterial toxins when food debris collect causing toothache. Foods that are cold, hot, sour, or sweet can also cause pain.

Dental filling is usually the treatment for small and shallow cavities, while larger cavity involves an on-lay or crown. For cavities that have penetrated and injured the pulp, treatment requires either a root canal procedure or extraction of the affected tooth. Pulp injury can lead to the death of pulp tissue, resulting in tooth infection or dental abscess. The root canal procedure involves removing the dying pulp tissue and replacing it with an inert material to save the dying tooth from extraction.

Gum disease or gingivitis is considered to be the second most common cause of toothache characterized by the inflammation of the soft tissue and abnormal loss of bone that surrounds the teeth and holds them in place. This condition is caused by toxins secreted by bacteria in "plaque" that accumulate over time along the gum line. Gum bleeding without pain is an early symptom of this disease while pain is of more advanced gum disease symptom as the loss of bone around the teeth leads to the formation of gum pockets. Advanced gum disease can cause loss of otherwise healthy teeth.

Early gum disease is treatment involves oral hygiene and removal of bacterial plaque. Thorough cleaning of the teeth and teeth roots called "root planing" and "subgingival curettage." Root planing is the removal of plaque and tartar from exposed teeth roots while subgingival curettage refers to the removal of the surface of the inflamed layer of gum tissue. Both of these procedures are usually performed under local anesthesia and may be accompanied by the use of oral antibiotics to overcome gum infection or abscess. Follow-up treatment may include various types of gum surgeries. In advanced gum disease with significant bone destruction and loosening of teeth, teeth splinting or teeth extractions may be necessary.

The luxury of hopelessness

I had a very busy day. I’m sure you understand--food to buy and cook, laundry to clean, clients to see, money to earn. So when I received two emails each from Amnesty International and the International Rescue Committee imploring me to contact my senators and urge them to support sending UN peacekeeping forces to Darfur, rather than call I felt annoyed, put out, guilted.

And then I thought for a moment. Here are millions of people suffering unspeakable horrors and this is a cause I’ve supported and spoken publicly about. How can I be annoyed? What’s really going on here?

I realized that my annoyance was a cover up. What I really felt was helpless and hopeless. For all the spotlighting of this genocide, for all the petitions signed by hundreds of thousands, for all the rallies, the situation in Darfur has gotten worse, not better. What I was really thinking was, “What difference will two more phone calls make, especially to senators who probably already support increasing aid to the Darfur region?”

Then I realized what a luxury it was for me to feel helpless and hopeless while millions of men, women, and children are being tortured, raped, starved, and murdered. How dare I do nothing because I choose to believe that I can’t do enough?

I came to my senses and understood that I needed to do something, not just for the people in Darfur, but for myself. First, I got my priorities straight and called my senators. And then I emailed them for good measure. I spent part of the rest of the day forgiving myself for wallowing in hopelessness. At the end of the day, I wasn't yet done forgiving myself. That may take awhile.

So how are you spending your busy day?

Cheap car loans can be found online

Of course we all want the cheapest but the best when it comes to buying anything and your car loan is no exception. Just as you shop around for the best deals in everyday matters, then you should also shop around for cheap car loans when it comes to your car finance. However, knowing where to look for the cheapest deals can be a nightmare but luckily there is an option when it comes to looking online, and that is by going with a specialist broker.

A specialist broker will be able to dig out the cheapest rate of interest when it comes to your car loan, and taking an independent car loan as opposed to going to the dealership for finance is the cheapest way to buy your new car. A broker will be able to secure the cheapest rate of interest for you while saving you a great deal of wasted time looking around yourself.

They know the places to avoid, whose lending criteria is strict and whose isn’t, and where the best lenders can be found.

Cheap car loans can be found online but they do take some searching out and this can be stressful. The brokers’ fees will have to be paid of course but even taking this factor into consideration it can be cheaper in the long run as they can find the lowest rates of interest and best terms for your cheap car loan.

While you want cheap, you will also want a good lender and here again a broker has the knowledge of finding the best lenders due to experience of dealing with them in the past. All you have to do is to supply a few details about the type of loan that you are looking for and a bit about your financial circumstances and they will do the rest.

Do remember that a car loan that has a fixed rate of interest will allow you to know exactly how much you are will be paying out each month and this is great if money is tight.

Never be tempted to take a car loan through a dealership. While they might throw in added bonuses, the interest rates of dealership loans are usually higher. A broker will almost certainly be able to dig out far cheaper car loans than a dealer can offer.

How to really annoy your web site visitors

It is quite easy to build a web site. It is even easier to really annoy your web site visitors.

Build A Winner

Anyone can build a web site. Building a good web site is another story. Web designers can easily avoid some of the most common mistakes by watching out for the following pitfalls:

1. Pop-Ups – Pop-ups can really annoy a visitor as these advertisements that open automatically in a new window can be quite distracting. The visitor might be interested in looking at the content of your site but a pop-up can force the visitor to focus on other things. A better way to annoy visitors is by having pop-ups that spawn more pop-ups when the visitor tries to close the first one.

2. Never Ending Web Pages – Another way to annoy your web site visitors is by putting mass amounts of information on one long continuous page. The visitor will keep scrolling endlessly down the web page only to get lost in web site content unrelated to what he or she was looking for in the first place. Long pages are one of the easiest ways to make a web page look hokey. It is much better to keep web site pages short and sweet so that it is easy for the visitor to get right to the information that is being looked for.

3. Excessive use of Graphics – Some web developers think that by using flashy graphics they can attract visitors to their site. Instead, the visitors are likely to get irritated. Too many graphics will make your web site download very slowly. Due to slow download speeds people might leave your web site before even knowing what your site has to offer. In this fast moving world, nobody has spare time to sit and wait until your web site pages load. This is particularly true for the 42 percent of people still on dial-up.

4. Under Construction Pages – Another way to irritate your web site visitors is by diverting them to a page which reads “under construction”. Most people try to find content oriented web sites and if they come across your web page that reads "under construction," the visitor is likely to be annoyed, having spent time getting there with no positive result.

5. Plug-Ins – Some web sites use plug-ins that visitors have to install before they can view the web site. This is one of the easiest way to really annoy your web site visitors. Some people feel that if they like a particular program then others should like it as well. A web developer might like a good-looking icon program which needs to be installed before his or her web site can be viewed. If the program is obscure and not used by most people, this will only be a source of discontent when things do not work properly on the site. Don’t make people download software to see your site. Never ever make them take extra steps to do something.

6. Lack of Content – Most people like content oriented web sites that give information on specific topics. Even search engines love content-based web sites and will rank content heavy sites higher in search results. Usually people visit a web site to see what benefit the site can offer them. Lack of proper content results in annoyed visitors leaving the web site.

7. Music – A few years back music was quite common on the web and many web sites had music that automatically played. Gradually people have realized that music creates a lot of distraction and is a nuisance to a lot of people. If you really want music then a choice should be given to the visitor to switch it on or off. Remember, may people surf the web with music playing already or while sitting in their office. When a web site automatically plays music, it will aggravate them to no end.

8. Inconsistent Page Design – Some sites are designed in such a way that after moving from one page to another the visitor feels as if he or she has come to a totally different web site. There should be some uniformity in page design or else visitors will feel lost and disoriented.

By paying close attention to factors that can annoy web site visitors, web site owners and designers can keep their visitors happy. Following, or rather not following, these eight web site annoyances, webmasters can make the most of each web visitor.

Selecting a good campsite

Let it be known that I’m an avid, happy camper and I love the outdoors. With that said, I’ve also met a lot of people who would love to try camping but don’t know where to start. It’s perfectly understandable that they wouldn’t want to go out and try something new without preparing for it, so I decided to write a short article that will provide some essential information for camping beginners, and send them on their way to experiencing and enjoying the joys of camping and the outdoors.

If you’re just starting out camping, I would suggest visiting one of the plentiful public campgrounds that you can find in national and state parks. Always pick the one that’s nearest to your home if possible. These public campgrounds are usually run by government agencies like the Bureau of Land Management, the Army Corps of Engineers, etc. They are typically found along scenic spots and on vast lands that are set aside for preserving the natural environment, and for people who want to enjoy the outdoors. Where to find them? Going online is the best way to do so. Websites like Park Net and Reserve USA offer a vast database of information about ideal and available camping spots.

Now that you’ve found your perfect campground, there’s more to learn. First, always stop by the campground office and check in when you arrive. Introduce yourselves and provide some necessary information, like the number of campers with you, how long you’re planning on staying, and whether you’re in a tent or an RV. You can also ask if you can take a drive through the area to find a suitable campsite. If the office has a map of the campground, you can use it to check the locations of important spots.

Inform the attendants if you’d like a campsite close to the lake, or about any other preferred locations you might have. It’s not guaranteed that they can always accommodate you, but telling them about it as early as possible will let them make the necessary arrangements and increase the odds of you getting the location you want. You might also want to inquire about the camp rules and regulations during this time, and any other questions that you might have.

You should also know what to look for when picking out your campsite. Ideally, choose a site where you can set up your tent on relatively high ground. This way, water will flow away from your tent when it’s raining, so your tent and everything else inside will remain dry. But avoid setting up your tent on a slope, either. Pick a site where the ground is high and level. You may also want to have some shade during the hotter parts of the day, so if you can, pick a spot near some trees. The only time when this is inadvisable, though, is when the weather shows likely signs of raining. Then you’d be risking the chance of becoming a target for lightning strikes.

Other things to check for are water sources and cooking areas. You will need lots of water for cooking, washing, and drinking, so make sure you camp near a water source. Check out the locations of the cleaning stations, as well. Never use bathrooms or drinking fountains for washing dishes. Make sure also that your campsite has a grill and a picnic table with benches. A flat, wide area without any leaves or twigs nearby is also ideal for campfires and using stoves.

Another important thing, especially if you have kids, is the location of any playgrounds or play areas. You might want to be near playgrounds, so that the kids won’t have to walk far and you can easily keep an eye on them, but if it’s peak season, the playgrounds will be sure to have lots of other children playing as well, so you might want to stay away from them to avoid the noise. It all depends on what your preferences are. You also need to look for locations where you can play ball games, or if you’re near a lake, go fishing, swimming, or boating.

Experience will teach you a lot more than I could in this article, so the best advice I can give you, aside from the things I told you here, is to go out and start camping. Enjoy life outdoors!

Web hosting help - what s bandwidth

:
Bandwidth can make all the difference when choosing where to host your website

A common mistake made by so many people when looking to choose a web host company is not asking about bandwidth. After spending so long designing or with a developer designing your web site you do not want to see a good web site ruined and only viewed by a handful of people at a time. A web site is generally your shop window and you want as many people as possible to look in and hopefully click on your information or purchase online if you are offering products. All web host companies will offer you a limited amount of bandwidth, it’s then up to you to calculate whether or not you need to pay a little extra for bandwidth you may require.

Don’t be afraid to ask for advice from the web host company, it is there job to help you along the way and after all it’s you who is paying for there service. You will need to advice them as to how big each page is on your website and if possible a rough calculation as to how many people you think may view your site on a weekly or daily basis.

Is it possible to save bandwidth?

Yes it is and this comes into play at the time of designing your website. If you are looking to save the bandwidth you should put all photos in the JPEG format and all graphics in GIF format. By doing so you are compressing the files using only the very least bandwidth required.

Why do some companies offer only a very limited amount of bandwidth?

You have got to remember that web hosting is an extensive market and very profitably for the web hosting company. The more people they can attract to their services the more profit they make. They in turn have to pay out to the telecoms companies for the bandwidth provided to them and are only wanting to pay the bare amount to keep profits high. Web host companies that are not offering you the additional bandwidth are the ones to avoid. If they say it is not possible to purchase additional bandwidth, then the chances are this is a small company with poor technology behind them operating on a shoestring budget.

What will happen if I do not have enough bandwidth?

It’s very simply really, if your website has not got enough bandwidth to operate with, one of two things will happen. Your website will download onto peoples monitors very slowly and the chances are they will not wait around. The second problem is that your web site may only be viewed by a very limited audience at one time. You may have great link backs from other websites driving traffic your way only for that traffic to be diverted elsewhere to a properly functioning competitor.

How can I ensure that this will not happen to me?

Undoubtedly it is very frustrating to spend time and money developing a good informative website only to have it’s viewing reduced by lack of bandwidth. You need to be honest with your web host company and tell them the number of pages and how large your overall files are, by doing this the onus is on them to offer us the service your require. You can ask for a guarantee from the web host company that all will be fine with your site and there are many out there willing to give such guarantees. If you decide to go it cheap and risk the low bandwidth you are only fooling yourself. Look at the rates from the different web host companies for extra bandwidth and you will be pleasantly surprised that it will not cost an arm and a leg to have a little extra. Knowingly going over bandwidth with only cost you revenue in the long run and makes your website very unprofessional. If you are hosting with a reliable web host company they will not allow this happen anyway.

If you are unsure as to how large your website actually is act the person or company who developed the site for you to advise or simply ask the web host company, all will be happy to oblige you.

Tanzania to kenya and the western kilimanjaro pass

The Western Kilimanjaro region is fairly new to the northern safari circuit of Tanzania. It is not therefore frequented by hordes of safari makers. Little information exists. There is no National Park here and the area is contained in a private concession - a type of private park. It is a very special area sitting on Tanzania’s borer with Kenya adjoining Kenya’s Amoboseli Park.

I would strongly recommend this area for a few days if you find yourself planning a safari in Tanzania and truly want, unique, off the beaten track and an ‘out of African experience’. Many destinations offer these qualities but Western Kilimanjaro truly delivers.

I visited this private concession this weekend. We left Arusha, my driver and I, heading toward Kilimanjaro. An hour out of Arusha we turned left and spent another ninety minutes on a very rough road. It was slow going as the 4 x 4 rattled slowly along the track whist all the time I was wondering if all this would be worth the effort. I was unsure of what to expect but had heard good reports about this new area and so looked forward to a pleasant experience.

My heart sank as we entered the camp. The tents were under local thatch and it all looked very basic; the luxury I was looking forward to, I feared, was greatly exaggerated. I was surrounded by African bush and the camp looked non existent. However, the camp is built into its surroundings, well hidden..I soon realized that the en-suite tents and the entire camp is indeed luxurious.

No other vehicles were at the camp, [we were the only guests this weekend] and with no other camps in the area we were literally off the beaten track, just myself, the driver and the camp staff. We arrived in time for lunch and the food was superb, five courses, in elegant surroundings. As there were no other guests my driver/guide, who was also Maasai, joined me for each meal. The driver being with me turned out well as I got to know all the staff very quickly.

The rest of the day I spent relaxing around the camp, drinking in the surroundings. Relaxing and getting to know the local Maasai. The following day Kalisti [the driver] and I were joined by the camp guide and he showed us the surrounding area and where to find the animals. Seeing herds of elephant against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro was a highlight of many years spent in East and Southern Africa. We then drove to a big white stone that signposted the Kenyan – Tanzanian border and we stopped for photographs. After this we drove across the border and around the Kenyan Amboseli National Park.

On the last evening, as the sun waned, we drove to the top of a large hill just not far from the camp. We watched the sun begin to set, the clouds clearing around Kilimanjaro and the snows turning pink with the setting sun, whist below the acacia trees were silhouetted as the dusk seemed to be rising from the ground, upward. Then as I thought it could be no finer than this, the Maasai from the lodge came dancing and singing up the hill, bringing champagne as this was to be my last evening. We toasted a most enjoyable stay and the staff and Philemon sang Maasai songs and danced into the early evening. If ever I was in Africa proper it was this evening. Not a tourist or car in sight, Kilimanjaro and local Maasai warriors dancing and singing into the night. Words cannot express the emotions of that evening. One cannot have a more African experience than to spend some time in this luxurious, eco friendly camp.

If ever you come to Tanzania, I recommend this area, this camp. Forget everything else. Your African experience should start in the Western Kilimanjaro on the Tanzania – Kenya border.

12-step plan for promoting black owned businesses during national black business month

It's been said there's more happiness (and success) in giving than in receiving. This is especially true of giving of yourself during National Black Business Month.

Here’s a plan for getting more growth for your business during this special month of activity.

1) Give Of Yourself

What can you give to others that will bring genuine appreciation from prospects and clients? To come up with ideas ask yourself if you can offer any of the following:

• A free product or service

• A special discount or gift

• A valuable report or other information product related to the services or products you offer

The ideas for giving to others are endless.

By focusing on giving instead of focusing on receiving, your business will automatically attract new clients and new opportunities.

Attracting new clients through giving is just one way to grow. Several marketing methods used simultaneously can be just as powerful for increasing profits for established companies.

2) Increase The Frequency Of Client Purchases

Apply as many profitable marketing methods as possible for increasing the number of times throughout the year your clients buy.

The more frequently your clients buy, the more money your company generates. For ideas on how to increase buying frequency, grab my checklist of 101 marketing methods. You'll find the checklist at AndreBell. com/articles/

3) Increase The Volume Of Purchases

Adopt marketing methods that will increase the average dollar amount of each client transaction. Begin using point of purchase incentives. Promote "one time offers" to encourage spontaneous purchases. Also, try imitating Mc Donald’s way of combining multiple items together as a “value” purchase. In other words, encourage clients to “Supersize”.

4) Increase Customer Retention/Reduce Attrition

Clients drift away for a number of reasons. Often complacency of business owners and staff is the cause. And sometimes clients drift away for reasons that have nothing to do with us.

“Salvaging” clients from leaving has the same impact on your bottom line as increasing sales by that same percentage. This is as close to getting free money as a business is likely ever to find.

And it’s easier and cheaper to improve your bottom line by preventing attrition, than prospecting or advertising to generate sales through new clients.

An excellent example of a powerful client retention program (though leaning towards the dark side) is America Online's Retention Manual

Copies of AOL’s client retention program are floating around the internet.

Simply go to Google. com and type in "AOL Retention Manual". You’ll come across the manual fairly quickly by visiting consumer awareness sites.

Study AOL’s client retention program for ideas on how to ethically adapt their guidelines into your business. Also, start a client loyalty program. Regular, ongoing communications help clients see you are thinking of them and care about them.

5) Increase Sales Conversions

Increasing inquiry-to-sales conversion will increase a company’s income without increasing costs.

To improve sales conversion rate first target and market to only the highest probability prospects. Also provide formal sales training to sales staff.

Though many companies have seen huge 300% increases in sales as a result of sales training, typically, adding a sales training program has proven to immediately increase sales by 15%. That’s immediate, the same month the training is initiated.

Sales training is clearly worth the reward. Unfortunately though few small to medium sized companies have a systematic or scheduled training system. Perhaps a fear of unknown costs holds them back.

The thing is, sales training doesn’t have to be elaborate or expensive.

A company can simply record the top sales reps during actual selling situations. Determine what top sales reps are saying and doing that other employees are not saying and doing. Then train all sales staff to implement those same sales processes.

Of course you’d want to take into consideration the legalities of recording live sales situations before doing so.

If you prefer a formal sales training system, there are many to choose from. Not all are of value. Stick to proven sales training systems.

6) Increase Response Rate To Existing Offers

In a nutshell this involves writing better and better ads, sales letters, and marketing pieces. A key factor in improving response to offers is removing common marketing mistakes

Unfortunately there isn’t enough time or space to list here all the steps needed to improve your marketing communications. So I recommend reading my book, “31 Overlooked Marketing Mistakes That Can Cripple Your Business.” I’m giving this book away 100% absolutely free this month. Get a free copy at AndreBell. com

7) Calculate And Increase The Lifetime Referral Value Of Clients

This involves calculating and tracking the average referral value of your clients. Once you know how much each customer is worth to your bottom line in terms of referral value, you’ll know how much money you can invest in a formal referral system and still profit.

The beauty of referral systems is the clients and customers who come your way are presold. They have less resistance, they spend more, and they’re more loyal than clients acquired through advertising.

A referral program can be as simple and informal as creating a basic referral recommendation form and asking for referrals at the point of purchase. Or you could get fancy by implementing a formal referral program that involves a series of postcards and sales letters asking for referrals, and thank you gifts to existing and past clients, vendors, and even competitors.

8) Find New Uses For Your Existing Products And Services

Sometimes when we are so close to our businesses we tend to think one way and do things only one way. One client I consulted with had a struggling business that was excellent at providing their products and services.

The problem was their marketing sucked. The owner couldn’t see past making occasional personal sales calls or just paying his monthly “due” for his yellow pages ad. Outside of those two activities they simply sat back and hoped and waited for something magical to happen. It didn’t.

If that wasn’t enough, a very aggressive multi-billion dollar national franchise moved into the area. This sent my client’s already shaky business careening down hill even faster.

My client could not afford to go head-to-head with such a large competitor. So we looked for overlooked opportunities. One solution we found was to stop fighting solely on a local level but to go global. We covertly set about putting in place systems for helping people across the country and abroad launch independent businesses in this same industry.

We set things up so each of these independent companies had to outsource to my client. No other option would work.

The obvious win to my client is they get ongoing revenues their major competitors are clueless to. The win to the independent business owners is they get to run their own businesses without the typical six to seven figure debt that comes from correctly starting a business in that industry.

There are many other ways to create new uses for your existing products and services too.

9) "Package" And Profit From Your Specialized Knowledge

This involves publishing and marketing your specialized knowledge. I have yet to find anyone in business who hasn't generated unique experience or methods that others wouldn’t be dying to pay to learn.

Your experience can save someone else valuable time and money.

For example, repackaging my 29 years of specialized knowledge is how I primarily earn my living today. It's what I do daily and help others do too. I’ve consulted with doctors and dentist, service business owners, authors, entrepreneurs, technology companies, landscapers, and others.

The ironic thing is...I'm a college drop out.

Don’t get me wrong. I love learning. I’m a perpetual student. But college moved too slow for me. What I could learn in a week from delving into sp[eed reading books and speaking with others who were already in an industry, would take several months or years to accomplish in college.

Despite quiting my first year of college, I now advise some of the brightest minds on earth.

It's not because of being brighter than others. It’s simply because of the specialized knowledge I've acquired over the past 29 years of attending numerous independent workshops and courses, studying some 2,000 books, videos, and recordings on nearly every business subject under the sun, from directly working in ten different industries, and from advising hundreds of business owners in seven countries.

An employer would need to hire seven to ten people (or more) to gain the same benefit of my specialized knowledge. Plus there’s no guarantee after wasting time recruiting that they’ll find someone qualified in each area.

That makes the gray matter between my two ears a valuable asset to business owners, as well as to others I’ve advised and trained to enter the consulting field.

You too have acquired specialized knowledge. Consider licensing to others what you know. Your knowledge can be 'packaged' into books, videos, seminars, teleseminars, and even through consulting and teaching.

10) Community Development

This involves the often dreaded “V” word. Volunteering.

Volunteering falls back to what I originally said in step number one: gain more success by focusing on giving instead of receiving.

Look for ways to boost your image in your community. If your business is a retail organization, likely your community is the area within a 20 mile or so radius of your business or office.

But a community can be much larger than that. Especially if you own a business-to-business company or market your business globally via the internet. In those cases your business may in fact be global.

Are there appropriate donations or sponsorships that could improve your image in your community? If there are, then reach out to your community by giving.

11) Publicity And Promotions

Closely related to community development is self-promotion.

Every business has something newsworthy to say. Come up with ideas for workshops or seminars, or unique owner expertise, or interesting client experiences that would benefit or interest your community.

Consider what is occurring now, has occurred in the past, or might predictably occur in the future that would be newsworthy to your community. Then inform your community of these events, ideas, experiences, and predictions.

Having your name dislayed as an authorityy in media your community trusts will improve your image and attract qualified clients and customers.

Also consider publishing articles or books. The purpose of publishing is to generate leads and increase company credibility.

Publish within your industry trade journals. But an even better and often overlooked opportunity for self-promotion are the official trade publications of your most profitable client's.

12) Determine A Unique Selling Position (USP)

A USP defines and communicates what makes your business new, unique, or different than everyone else in your industry. It’s your competitive advantage.

For example, think of FedEx.

FedEx’s USP is: "When it absolutely positively has to be there overnight".

That USP defines everything about how FedEx operates and positions itself among competitors. No one else on earth is able to use that phrase. Not the U. S. Postal Service, not UPS, not DHL. No one.

Here's another example: "Fresh and hot and to your door in 30 minutes or it's free". Who's that? Yep. Dominoes Pizza. That USP took a failing community pizza company and made it into the world’s largest pizza franchise.

Here’s my USP: My company is the nation’s only wholly black-owned business growth firm specializing only in ethical and honest business growth strategies for businesses earning from $500,000 to $10,000,000 annually.

A USP can be a single sentence, a paragraph, or even an entire page. What a USP isn’t is a worthless slogan or vague and intangible mission statement.

A USP is much more powerful than both. It truly sets the company apart. It says something that is impossible for others to claim.

Your USP defines what makes your company unique. Consider what you can say about your business that will set it apart from your competitors...not only this month but for years to come.

Cremator s revenge - book review

Author, Margaret LeNois demonstrates excellent story-telling capabilities in her 272-page fiction novel, Cremator’s Revenge.

The title was perfect choice for the book. Here we have a very disturbed serial killer working as a cremator at the very graveyard where his beloved grandmother lay. Obsessed with her death, a twisted kind of religion, a benevolent hate for destitute people and being a loner, took a toll on him. It seemed, for a while at least, that refuge could be found in tending his beautiful gardens out in the Florida sunshine.

The author is brutally realistic and shows a true understanding of people in less privileged situations and the life circumstances that brought them there. We are shown how street people, or "streeters", survive the elements, avoid dangers and locate food. The huge benefits that the meals, clothes, showers and comfort that volunteers provide is a gift that cannot be measured for those who have no access to these things. The "streeters" creation of tight and protective substitute families, aid against the prejudice within society. And those that aim for greener pastures face huge challenges.

The heart-thumping pace is kept steady with the author’s skilled use of fear, righteous wrath and revenge - emotions that today’s society can relate to and on some level, even cheer. A tense romance triangle between a feisty reporter, a frustrated cop and a destitute military veteran really spices things up. There were sections of such chilling horror that I shivered, but couldn’t break away from reading just one more page.

I absolutely loved reading this psychological thriller and highly recommend it to readers who like a book that is hard to set down.

Some leadership programs alike access this architecture of team-working abilities as the centermost of the accomplished administration program. As an example, I will acquaint you that I accept heard about administration programs which centermost on the accomplishing of concrete tasks as appropriation every affiliate of the accumulation over a wall.

Of course, the point of this is not to accretion beef accumulation but to apprentice how to assignment as a team. What is freelance journalism

Freelance journalism is one of the more hectic forms of freelance writing. If you want to become a successful freelance journalist, you'll need to be comfortable with spending much time hunting down stories, traveling from place to place, and writing under short deadlines. If you enjoy all of that, and if you're interested in some of the best opportunities for personal creativity, then freelance journalism may be for you.

When we talk about freelance journalism, we need to distinguish between two types: newspaper journalism and magazine journalism. As a rule, newspaper journalism involves a much narrower range of subject matter than magazine journalism, significantly shorter articles, and a greater focus on form. Typical newspaper articles follow a hierarchical format: the most pertinent information first, the least pertinent last. For example, an article about a local parade would start with "The X Parade will travel down Main Street at 10:00 Saturday in support of Y," while it might end with "Onlookers are advised to bring umbrellas."

Additionally, writing as a newspaper journalist means that you need the ability to find out about the news. Often, a journalist's day looks like this: the editor assigns the journalist an article topic at 6 AM. By 8 AM, the journalist is making phone calls to various parties related to the topic. For a story on rising gas prices, this may include CEOs of oil companies, local gas station owners, car owners (interviewed on the street or at gas stations), car manufacturers, and local policymakers. Journalists usually interview anyone with a meaningful connection to the topic, and who can provide some good, succinct quotes and information.

Information-gathering goes on for most of the day, usually ending around evening. The journalist then works on the article, fact-checking where appropriate, before submitting it for publication sometime that night, with the deadline depending on the individual paper. Then the journalist is able to go to sleep--until 6 AM rolls around again, and the next article topic comes in.

More leeway is available with the larger "feature" articles. These appear in film sections, lifestyle sections, health sections or other less breaking-news-focused parts of the daily paper. Often newspapers publish these sections weekly, rather than daily, to save on printing costs.

For example, the film section may only appear on Fridays, the food section on Tuesdays, etc. The upshot of this is the freelance journalist has more time to research and to work on an excellent, well-rounded article. Using the same research methods (calling everyone connected to the topic, scheduling interviews, synthesizing succinct points from a large information pool), a feature writer constructs a more in-depth look at a given topic than a news writer can achieve in a short column of text.

Additionally, there's occasionally more freedom in the choice of subject matter. Perhaps you know about an excellent local band in need of a profile? Maybe you volunteer in a community organization that does interesting work and deserves a write-up? How about writing an article on the health benefits of soybeans? A newspaper's "features" section can be an excellent venue and a personal one, which can be rare in freelance writing. Additionally, feature articles don't depend heavily on the hierarchical "news" format, making your job much easier (or harder, if you find it difficult to structure an article without set guidelines.)

Magazine journalism is similar to the "feature" style of newspaper journalism, albeit with much more generous word limits (and often more generous pay rates.) The downside is that a magazine may not have as many opportunities for publishing your work. The broader subject matter of a magazine may also result in topics that require more legwork and potential travel expenses (hopefully paid for by the magazine) than just a profile of a local policymaker. To be an effective magazine writer, you'll need to look much harder for article ideas, but the payoff can be well worth it.

How do you scout out freelance journalism jobs? For newspapers, have some sample articles written, a good working knowledge of style guides (especially Associated Press style), and a willingness to work on whatever is available until the editor or publisher promotes you to working on more enjoyable assignments. For magazines, it's best to research your articles and write them in advance; afterwards you can send query letters to the appropriate editors in hopes of becoming published. In either case, submission information is printed on the staff page of magazines and newspapers. You can also find submission information online at the publications’ web sites.

The career of a journalist isn't for everyone. Whereas many freelance writing projects are about a predictable routine of research and writing, the variety and novelty of writing news and feature articles eschews all routine in favor of a constant flurry of ad hoc interviews, phone calls and general information-gathering. But to some people, this is far from a drawback. If you're one of those people, start developing your portfolio now, get in touch with some editors (either by appointment or by query), and prepare yourself for a successful career in freelance journalism.

Preventing hiv through circumcision

There’s more to circumcision than just a religious ritual. It is actually a cheap, safe and lifelong protection for your newborn boy against AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. Circumcision can also help prevent penile cancer and various bacterial infections.

Based on studies, the removal of foreskin in circumcision provided a fifty percent reduction in HIV transmission, a threefold reduction in human papilloma virus (HPV) infections in female partners of uncircumcised men, and lower rates of syphilis and Chlamydia. These diseases are among the leading causes of sterility among male teenagers.

Circumcision among infants is roughly 10 times more likely to prevent urinary tract infections and the high fevers associated with them. Circumcision’s potential role in AIDS prevention is evident in Africa and encouraged the New York City Health Department to consider outreach programs among gay adult men and drug addicts.

Historically, the ancient Egyptians practiced circumcision to prevent itch and infections in the foreskin. Jews incorporated the practice as part of their religious rituals. Some fundamentalists even thought that circumcision would be effective in preventing masturbation --- an act which is considered a sin in many churches and congregations.

However, over the years, circumcision in the U. S. has gained more acceptance as a scientifically proven health procedure. Although it is still perceived by some quarters to be a form of mutilation, the said procedure has come a long way in terms of its acceptability as a form of disease prevention.

It’s impossible to prove that circumcision diminishes sexual pleasure since a clipped boy will never know what it would have felt like to have a foreskin. However, those who were circumcised as adults found no difference in their sex lives.

Still, many parents in the United States still doubt the need to have their male children circumcised. Even Medicaid won’t pay for circumcision in 16 states. Statistics show a decline in the number of boys circumcised at birth from 65 to 55 percent between 1993 and 2003. The Medicaid coverage and other challenges to circumcision can be attributed at least in part to the American Academy of Pediatrics’ (AAP) stance in a 1999 position paper that says despite “potential medical benefits” the data were not sufficient to recommend routine neonatal circumcision.

According to Dr. Edgar Schoen, a leading proponent of circumcision and chief of pediatrics at Kaiser-Permanente Healthcare for 24 years, the evidence that circumcision prevents HIV transmission has been solid since the late 1980s. Even Harvard medical anthropologist Daniel Halperin, Ph. D., agreed with Schoen.

While the medical community continues to be skeptical, the most convincing studies emerged after the AAP statement. Three trials in which Kenyan and Ugandan men were randomly selected to receive circumcision were halted when it became clear that circumcision helped prevent transmission of HIV. This prompted the United Nations World Health Organization to announce that male circumcision should be added to the list of interventions that can help prevent HIV.

Based on the study, the foreskin is susceptible to attack by HIV and often develops cracks or tears that may lead to bacterial infection such as syphilis and chancroid. These bacterial infections are very common in uncircumcised men, providing a gateway for HIV.

Home remedies that literally remove stains and allow you to display sparkling white teeth

My colleague in the stockbroker's office is a very pretty lady with a very attractive smile. Whenever she smiles, she displays the best looking set of teeth I have ever seen. However, she was not like this all the time. Once when I complimented her about her wonderful smile, she remarked that she have had her teeth straightened out by braces and had her teeth all cleaned and whitened at her dentist. While it was costly, it was worth it because she now has a million-dollar smile.

Indeed, all of us do wish to have a great smile, and pearl white shiny teeth that would sparkle in the sunlight.

But daily, we face quiet enemies that subvert our attempts to keep our teeth sparkling clean and white.

Foods and beverages cause stains on our teeth by sticking to the protective layer of protein that our mouths naturally coat our tooth enamel to prevent damage to the enamel layer. Apart from the temperature of the drinks we consume that causes structural changes over a long period of time, stains are an almost instant result whenever we consume food and fruits.

Fruits and drinks readily affect our teeth. These include berries, curries, red wine, colored soda drinks, and soya sauce, which easily stain your tooth enamel, leaving behind yellowish coatings or following the color of the fruit or juice that stains the enamel. Contact with carrot juice, for example, will stain your teeth a slightly yellowish.

Sticky foods also adhere more easily to tooth enamel. These cause a layer of stain over the top of your tooth, and allow other foods and drinks to stick to this layer that is formed.

While it is easy to go to the dentist and request your dentist to prescribe you a home based bleaching program that you can follow at home, dental treatments are costly, whereas over the counter treatments generally are way cheaper.

Most whitening methods work well on teeth which have yellowed, and some whitening can be done if teeth are brownish or greyish.

A visit to the pharmacy will allow you to explore a variety of dental remedies that you can carry out in the comfort of your home. These will include the application of bleaching strips, or bleaching gels and are much cheaper than a dental treatment.

While I appreciate that these bleaching agents do work, I have the benefit of observing that all my Indian friends have sparkling clean teeth with corresponding smiles. They have one secret, and that is their traditional habit of chewing the betel nut and leaves with an assortment of special spices.

We now understand that many teeth whitening processes involve rubbing your teeth with abrasive materials, but you want to avoid rubbing them too much, because if you rub off the top layer of your teeth, the tooth enamel, your dentine layer will be exposed.

Thus when my Indian friends chew the betel nut and the leaves, these materials rub against the teeth, and whitens them in the process.

For the person who is contemplating the application of a bleaching agent, it may perhaps be good to explore options from the bottom upwards. By this, he can first try to use home remedies. Most of these home remedies can help in the short term, using ingredients you have at home, such as baking soda, vinegar, lemon juice, and salt.

Use caution and a soft bristle brush with home-made teeth whitening attempts.

After a few days of these gentle home remedies, you will find pleasing comments from your friends who will see the difference and the whitening effect of these home remedies on your teeth in your effort to whiten them.

If you are not satisfied with the results of your home remedies or your home bleaching program, then you will need to seek dental treatment.

A guide to arizona rv rentals

Arizona is one of the most beautiful desert states in America. It is home to the Grand Canyon, the red cliffs of Sedona, mountains, and endless sights in Phoenix. And perhaps the best way to see all these attractions is to travel by RV whenever and wherever you like.

The cost of owning an RV, or the long drive from your home to Arizona may make RV travel seem impossible. It’s not. The solution: renting an RV in Arizona.

KOA, or Kampgrounds of America, provides a list on its Web site of its preferred Arizonan RV rental agencies, which are located throughout the state. The larger cities like Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff and Mesa all have RV rental agencies.

The class-C motor home is the most popular RV rental for families or couples. The motor home has one double bed, but can comfortably sleep six to nine people. It also has a toilet and shower, microwave and refrigerator in the kitchen, and heating and cooling. Most Arizonan RV Rentals also sell home-keeping kits with dishes and linens for your trip, perfect for when you fly into Arizona.

The summer season in Arizona lasts from the end of May to the start of September. This is the busiest and most expensive time to rent an RV in Arizona. RV rentals in the off-season cost around $20 a day less than during the summer season. You will generally get a cheaper per day rate the longer you rent your RV.

Before you rent, shop around. Pay particular attention to the pricing of each Arizonan RV rental agency and find a scheme that works for you. Many companies charge a day rate on top of an additional mile charge. Also ask about insurance, as your car insurance may not cover the RV rental. Ask about clean-up costs and if a security deposit is needed. A little preparation in the beginning can save you money and frustration in the long run, but don’t forget to have fun along the way!

The acropolis in athens - a symbol in greece

The Acropolis in Athens is the most symbolic area in Greece. Although in ancient Greece most major cities used to have their own acropolis, this spot is known as the centre of Athens and contains the most iconic and famous ancient constructions in the entire country. This way, the Acropolis is the most visited destination in not only Athens, but in the entire Greece as well, being a major attraction for tourists from around the world who approach this region in order to meet these constructions.

The Acropolis hill, also known as the Sacred Rock, contains several ancient symbolic constructions such as per example, the Parthenon, the Temple of Nike, and the Erechtheion. These spots, built within the years 450 and 330 BC have gone through several different historical moments and meeting them is without any doubt as meeting the past in the present.

The Parthenon, in The Acropolis, is the most symbolic construction from Ancient Greece. The Parthenon was built between the years 446 and 432 BC in honor to the Goddess of Athens Athena Parthenos. This construction was built almost entirely with Pentelic marble and shows 8 columns at its two shorter sides and 17 columns at its longer ones, containing a statue of Athena in its central area.

The Temple of Athena Nike, another major construction in The Acropolis, was built around the year 420 BC. This construction shows four columns at its shorter sides and walls in the larger sides. This construction's walls contains depictures of gods' conferences and battles at each side. The Erechtelion, is another major construction in The Acropolis. This construction was originally divided in two main sections which were dedicated to the Goddess Athena and the God Poseidon.

Another major spot located in The Acropolis in Athena is The Propylaea. The Propylaea was built between the years 436 and 431 BC following a design of the architect Mnesikles. This construction was built with the purpose of being the main entrance to The Acropolis and contains rows of columns and decorated walls. It is interesting to know that, due to its paintings, this construction is often known as the Pinakotheke.

A review on travel insurance - do you need it or not

Personally I think it would be very foolish not to have some sort of travel insurance, especially if you are flying abroad. People sometimes make the mistake in thinking that their local insurance policies will cover any losses and have a big shock when they come to make a claim. Besides, if you have the right policy, it takes all the worry out of your trip.

You should always be offered insurance, by your travel agent, when you arrange your trip. If not, ask, because it will be on your own head if anything goes wrong.

A Cheap Policy or Not?

When a travel insurance policy is issued there are a number of allocations if the premium, agents commissions, administrative costs, some goes towards profit and what's left over goes towards the actual insurance coverage. So, you can see, if it's a cheap travel insurance policy, something is going to miss out and you can bet it will be the level of coverage.

If you buy a regular travel insurance policy, that is, you fill out a form and send it to the insuarance company with your remittance there are a lot of costs involves. A better way would to get a wholesale policy (which travel agents do sell) where the administration costs are dramactically reduced, meaning more money is spent on the actual coverage.

Some tour operators and agents provide an "in-house" travel insurance policy and, often, all it covers is their own cancellation fees and little else. It may be cheaper but will not give you much travel insurance coverage.

Another way to reduce costs, which depends on the level of travel you are going to do, is to purhase an annual travel insurance policy. This is buying in bulk and is likely to be much less expensive than the one-off trip policy.

Primary or Secondry Travel Insurance Cover?

These 2 types of cover determine the way the payouts are made. The primary travel insurance cover means that the company will "Pay First", that is the payment will be paid to the claim maker. The secondary travel insurance cover means they will pay only after you've have claimed as much as you can from other insurance cover that you may have. So, you can see that the primary cover is a lot better than the secondry cover.

What Type Of Coverage Will You Need?

It's fair to say the 2 biggest risks that are covered by most travel insurance policies are the costs of changing your travel plans and and any medical care and emergency assistance that is required while you are away.

Most travel insurance policies will include a few hundred dollars for baggage/loss/damage/delay, loss of travel documents and other small sum for flight delay or interuption. Some will also cover for someone to fly out to you if you are to be hospitalised for more tha 2 or 3 days.

Another major cost, and I must admit I never thought of this one before, can be supplier bankruptcy. Many time the supplier of your travel insurance policy are unable to have the policy to cover thier own bankruptcy. This would be another good reason to have an independant policy from the company arranging your travel.

Most travel insurance policies include a large ammount of air death insurance, but surprisingly, it's of very low value item about 25 cents for a $100,000 cover. I suppose this indicates how safe air travel is.

Some travel isurance policies will also cover car rental risks and this may be an important thing to consider as car rental insurance policies are extremely expensive.

Trip Cancellation/Change Coverage

To understand the possible costs that you may need if you have to change your itinery or cancel the trip, if you have pruchased an unrestricted first class ticket there may be not any costs associated with changing the ticket as this is usually covered in the purchase price.

It may seem strange but the the cheapest ticket has the most risk attached to it as far as cancellation/change is concerned. It can cost a heap more to change the cheap fare to return home on a different flight than the original purchase price of the ticket.

You will have to be aware that when some travel insurance policies state that they will cover 'your total trip cost' you may think that the full charges are covered, but this may not be so. Let's say that your discounted fare cost $590 and you have a package that actually costs $895 and you have to change you may find the return trip will cost more than the whole package. Maybe you will have to pay another $1120 to get home on a no advanced one way return ticket.

I had this experience a few years ago when I had to rush home for my Father's funeral. Because of time restrictions I had to buy a non-discounted ticket. After not feeling well all day, when I finally arrived at the airport I succumbed to a middle ear infection. So with all the vomitting and the different air pressures that come with flying there was no I could get on a aircraft. But, as I had purchased a full fare, there was problems in changing my flight to the next morning. Goes to show that you can't always control your circumstances.

The more restictive travel insurance policies may exclude circumstances that are deemmed 'under your own control', and perhaps this may include work related issues. Let's say you are about to leave work and you are told there is an issue that has to be solved and that you leave has to be deffered. There's a very good chance that this type of travel insurance would no pay out because of this reason.

Medical Care and Emergency Assistance

Some people mistakenly think that their home medical insuarnce policy will cover all costs wherever they are in the world. They may find that that it doesn't cover at all, or the deductions will be much higher or perhaps their medical costs are covered but not any related transport costs.

You may be on a cruise and you need some medical attention by the ship's doctor. There is a good chance that their services are charged for as with any other doctor. You may have to be flown home on a stretcher and this will involve blocking out nine seats, can you imagine how much that would cost. You should make sure that you have travel insurance of at least $10,000 or more to cover these emergencies. Let's imagine you are in a remote area and you break a leg and you need to be lifted out by a helicopter, this is what good travel insurance is all about.

To Summarise

Imagine your worst case travel mishap scenario and decide whether you need travel insurance. This may be the cancellation of the whole trip coupled with the associated cancellation costs or some emergency medical mishap that will require medivac and local care. I know these are horrible thoughts but if you can't afford to self-insure the expenditure of around $100 on travel insurance will give you the piece of mind and one less thing to worry about.

In debt - a debt consolidation loan may be the answer

Being in debt can be stressful, especially if you are in way over your head. It is important to understand you need to develop a debt management plan of attack to avoid going into bankruptcy. Bankruptcy will follow you for the rest of your life and make at least the next ten years very rough to get ahead financially.

As you're dealing with your debt problems you need to take a serious look at your spending habits. Quite often people will have enough income to live on but they can't quite control the use of their credit cards and spend way beyond their means. This is often referred to as a champagne appetite with a beer budget.

It is important to understand that credit cards where not designed to get you out of debt and with the high interest rates they are charging they will actually get you into more debt.

Depending on your situation you may be seeking debt counseling or already in a position of trying to understand the different aspects of debt negotiation.

A debt consolidation loan maybe just the relief you're looking for. They allow you to combine all your debt into one loan and one payment. There are several types of debt consolidation loans.

One is a secured consolidation loan in which the outstanding debt is secured by assets you have such as property or a house, typically this type of loan has a lower interest rate since the loaner has the ability to claim your asset in the event you don't make the loan payments.

Another type of debt consolidation loan is an unsecured loan. This type of consolidation loan will come with a higher interest rate since there are no assets securing the loan making it riskier for the loaner to get their money back in the event you don't make the payments.

Quite often with the rising home values a home owner will refinance their mortgage and consolidate their other debts into the mortgage. Quite often you will see home owners roll their car payments in to their refinanced mortgage allowing the car payment to go away and only a small increase in their mortgage payment.

There is a dark side to consider when doing this, typically a car loan last for 5 years, when you roll this into your mortgage the term is usually 30 years. This means that you will be actually paying for the outstanding car loan balance for the next 30 years. You may be in a debt situation where this is the only answer but if not you need to consider carefully what you consolidate into a 30 year payment.

Lastly, there are many variables and options you need to consider as you start your debt management plan. Be sure to read the fine print of any agreement you are considering, most lending institutions are trust worthy but just to be sure read all the fine print so you are not surprised by a higher payment than you thought or some other penalty you may not have been aware of.

Buying furniture for the elderly with special needs

If you are challenged with buying furniture for an elderly person, there are a few things you should keep in mind as you start your search.

First, how is that person’s health and physical condition? Can he or she easily rise from and sit down into a chair? If not, furniture with special options are available. The seats of chairs and recliners rise to a higher level with the push of a button. The elderly person can simply back against it, then lower himself down to a seated position by pushing another button. Furniture technology is great!

Another thing to consider when picking out furniture for an elderly person is the fabric or upholstery on the item. If the elderly person tends to slide out of seating easily, a couch with a slick leather upholstery might not be as good a choice as one with a textured fabric. The texture of the fabric can help prevent slipping out of the seating.

Make sure the furniture you pick out for an elderly person is easy to clean. If they have other health issues that might mean occasional soiling of the furniture, they will need to be able to clean it quickly and thoroughly.

Most important when buying furniture for an elderly person is to remember that even though his or her eyesight might be a little less than it once was, the furniture should still be appealing to his or her taste. If your grandfather hates floral fabric, don’t buy him a room full of furniture with huge magnolia blossoms on it just because you happen to like it. If you are incorporating this furniture into your living quarters, and you and the elderly person who will be sharing your space disagree on furniture tastes, do your best to get the new furniture in a complementary shade or fabric. It doesn’t have to be an exact match. Use a solid blue lift chair to coordinate with your blue, burgundy and green floral sofa and loveseat. Make every effort to respect his or her taste while accommodating any special needs.

If you are buying furniture for an elderly or special needs person, ask questions of your furniture rep. Tell them about your special needs and concerns. Furniture sales reps are trained to help you fill your needs. If your local furniture store doesn’t carry what you need, chances are the salesperson can refer you to a website or medical supply store that does. If ordering furniture from a website, be sure you know all the shipping and handling costs up front. Also, find out warranty information. Don’t overlook medical supply stores in your furniture quest. In addition to medical necessities such as oxygen tanks, portable toilets and wheelchairs, many carry furniture items like lift chairs and recliners that can greatly improve comfort and quality of life.

If at all possible, take the elderly person you are buying furniture for on your shopping trip. Ask for input. This will insure your furniture purchase is one you’ll be happy with for a long time.

Why the law of attraction really works

Whatever thing you do or whatever business you are running you might be heard about The Law of Attraction. That law simply says that you attract into your life whatever you think about(consciously or sometimes unconsciously). Your dominant thoughts will find a way to manifest. The masters of this law say that if you study how to use it in a good way you'll never need anything in life.

Before I try to explain in details how The Law of Attraction works, who use it and why logically you could use it too, I'd like to explain you that if you want to begin using the Law, you must be able to suspend your disbelief. I mean that if you're pretty sure that the Law of Attraction is just a nice story that is impossible to apply in your life because of this and that…..and hardly will work for you, I can surely tell you that you won’t get anything of it so just don't waste your time and continue to keep your eyes and mind closed. However, if you can suspend your disbelief and try to have "what if…maybe?" attitude, you will discover how things are working for you and for the world under the Law of Attraction.

You might be heard that all in the world is energy even us. And we all work as magnets and we attract different energies ….Ok this you might believe or not it's up to you. I would like to speak about clear examples from our history Einstein, Walt Disney, Bill Gates used the most powerful and potent form of energy known in the universe – the thought. This mean that whatever is going in your mind is what you are attracting into your life right now. All those famous people discover that the thought has frequencies and send out magnetic energy that attracts. So you become and attract what you think about most and here is the challenge that the thought with the strongest energy can apply to your life and become reality (can become things!).That's why they had such a great success in the things they really believe and put all their energy and thoughts into before even the world believe them.

Most people think about what they don't want to in their life (ok ...I also did it and it's easier)…but by default they attract more of the same. And also if your thought is combined with strong emotion (good or bad) you speed up your process. Have you noticed that those that speak more about illness have it….and those that speak more about positive stuff, prosperity have it. Whatever you are feeling right now is a perfect reflection of what's in process of becoming. Only your persistent thought and emotion can speed up the process when you will see it in the reality. And you set exactly what you are feeling so happy feelings will attract more happy circumstances. Visualizing positively that you have it all that you need and want will make your conscious to believe it and the universe will respond to that energy. Feeling grateful will create more things in your life to be grateful for. It is really that simple but we need to control our thought in every moment and this is the complicate stuff. You can take stepping back and looking in your life from different point to become aware of how you are unconsciously using and have used the Law of Attraction already. Remember the story of your life how you were here than you were there doing this, why you meet this person and what did you think, what happened. I personally was very surprised at the beginning while remembering every moment of my life I found how strong can be the power of the Law of Attraction (of course this law was depending how strong was my thought.)

I know that with the Law of Attraction can raise some tough questions that don't seem to have good answers-things that had happened in our life and we never wanted they've happened by our thoughts. I would say, however, that these problems aren't caused by the Law of Attraction itself but rather by the Law of Attraction as applied to objective reality. This entire reality is your creation. We should feel good about that. Feel grateful for the richness of your world. And then begin creating the reality you truly want by making decisions and holding intentions. Think about what you desire, and withdraw your thoughts from what you don't want. The most natural, easiest way to do this is to pay attention to your emotions. You can make the experiment yourself by thinking about your desires that makes you feel good, and then thinking about what you don't want makes you feel bad. You'll notice that you feel bad when you're thinking about something you don't want. Then you just turn your focus back towards what you do want, and your emotional state will improve rapidly.

Good luck with your life and emotional experience just observe how all is connected with the Law of Attraction.
